In my previous post I talk about the idea of Daily Declarations. If you missed it, it may be helpful to take a couple minutes and read it to get an understanding of this post. Today I am sharing 3 through 6 of my Daily Declarative Statements. I’ll share the remaining 4 in the next post.
Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and…”
3. Take care of my body. I know that my body is a temple of the Lord. I will discipline myself to keep my body, mind, and soul healthy through working out, eating right, and getting enough rest and sleep every day. I will hit my daily exercise goals.
4. Work hard. I believe that “we reap what we sow” (Galatians 6:7). I will work hard at work and at home. I will not be lazy, for that solves nothing, produces nothing, and does not glorify God.
5. Take responsibility. When I make a mistake, I will own it and do my best to never repeat that mistake again. If my mistake caused someone pain, I will do everything in my power to bring reconciliation to that relationship.
6. Pray with expectation. I know there is power in prayer as there is power in faith. I will continually beat on Heaven’s door for any and all prayer request that echo the heart of God. I believe God moves mountains and I believe prayer moves the heart of God.
